The number-one way that Truthseekers builds relationships with lowered-caste leaders is through the hospitality we offer at the Truthseekers Center, which is strategically and intentionally located in New Delhi, India’s capital.

Lowered-caste leaders, who have been elected to represent their fellow caste members, regularly travel to Delhi to relay their issues and concerns to their representatives in Parliament. Despite the numbers of people they represent, these leaders are often as impoverished as their members. While in Delhi, they usually need a place to stay, as they usually cannot afford even a simple guesthouse.

Truthseekers welcomes these caste leaders as our guests. Our office has a staff of 9 people, but we regularly feed between 20 and 30 people each day, many of whom are strategic caste leaders. Others who come want to meet Sunil and hear more about Truthseekers, to engage over the issues of caste, and learn more about what Jesus has to offer the peoples of India.

The Truthseekers Center is caste-free. Anyone who enters will join in collective meals that bridge caste barriers. Our Center is a safe and welcome place.  Anyone from any caste or religion can come, visit, eat, stay, and in doing so, become aware of Jesus and what He has to say about Himself, caste, oppression, sin, redemption, and reconciliation.  Essentially, Truthseeekers’ office operates as a continuous caste reconciliation retreat, 365 days a year.
